The High Desert Corvette Club (HDCC) announced the continuation of their event, Corvettes on the High Desert,(the largest, all Corvette show in Central Oregon) to be held at Eagle Crest Resort Saturday July 16. The event will feature all seven Corvette generations spanning over 60 years from 1954 through 2016 with more than 300 participants in support of Bend’s KIDS Center.

Residents and visitors to Central Oregon are encouraged to attend the event which runs from 10am through 1pm Saturday, July 16. Owners will be on hand to discuss their cars and in some cases their modifications which run from a slight change to full out supercharged engines with 1000hp and body changes. Admission is free although a donation to the KIDS Center is welcomed.

According to Tom Gray, President of the HDCC, the biennial event, “Is a wonderful way to give back to those children from around the area that have suffered abuse as well as those that work so tirelessly to support its cause.”

The KIDS Center provides the only direct services to child victims of abuse in Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson Counties as well as Warm Springs (with no cost to their families). They have been known throughout Central and Eastern Oregon as experts in child abuse evaluation and treatment service for over 19 years.

The High Desert Corvette Club has continuously supported local events and charities since its founding over 20 years ago. It has over 100 members from Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, Sun River and LaPine. Bend Chevrolet (Lithia), NAPA are the principal sponsors this year.
