OSU-Cascades to Host Series of TEDxBend Salons

Oregon State University – Cascades will host a series of TED Salons presented by TEDxBend. TED Salons welcome small audiences for curated TED Talks that revolve around a globally relevant theme and provide an opportunity for facilitated discussion following each talk.

The following Salons are organized by TEDxBend and will take place in Tykeson Hall, Room 206 on the OSU-Cascades campus at 1500 SW Chandler Ave. in Bend.

Race, Equity and Partnership
6:30-8pm, Monday, January 21
Join a discussion about the intersections of issues of race, equity and partnership, and an exploration of how conversation can advance change within these areas.

Love in Many Forms
6:30-8pm, Monday, February 11
Participants will explore the many ways love is expressed and conveyed, and how it can impact an individual and a community.

Ideas that Provoke and Challenge Us
10-11am, Saturday, February 23
This session explores how new ideas have challenged individuals and organizations to initiate change that improves lives.

Gender Equity 2.0
6:30-8pm, Monday, March 11
Participants will explore and discuss the next steps in how to ensure fairness in the treatment of men and women.
