Planned Redmond Road Closures & Delays Update

New and ongoing road closures announced through March 1.

*** NEW Closures:

NW Northwest Way from NW Spruce Ave to NW Upas Ave. – Closed for construction Monday, February 18 thru Friday, April 26, 2019.
NW Northwest Way from 200 feet South of NW Spruce Ave for 700 feet North will be closed while Jack Robinson & Sons constructs the City of Redmond’s Far West Sewer Interceptor project, new water main, and fully reconstructs the roadway. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW 8th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave – Intermittent closures for construction thru February 2019.
SW 8th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave will be closed intermittently thru February while construction activities related to the Centennial Park Expansion occur. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW 6th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave and SW Evergreen Ave from SW 7th Street to SW 6th St – Traffic disruptions and sidewalk closures for construction thru February 2019.
SW 6th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave and SW Evergreen Ave from SW 7th St to SW 6th St will experience intermittent lane and sidewalk closures thru February as SunWest Builders performs construction activities for the Historic Redmond Hotel. Business access will be available. Please use caution or an alternate route.

Ongoing Closures:

NW Spruce Ave from NW 22nd St to NW 19th St – Closed for construction thru Sunday, March 31, 2019
NW Spruce Ave from NW 22nd St to NW 19th St will be closed while Jack Robinson & Sons constructs the City of Redmond’s Far Wester Sewer Interceptor project. Please use detours or an alternate route.         

South Canal Improvement Project

SW Veterans Way to SW Obsidian Ave
South Canal Blvd from SW Veterans Way to SW Obsidian Ave will remain closed for construction activities. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave
South Canal Blvd from SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave is open to thru traffic.

SW Pumice Ave to SW Salmon Ave
SW Pumice Ave to SW Salmon Ave will remain closed for construction activities. Local residents and businesses will have access. Please use detours or an alternate route.

The improvement project completion date is set for April 2019. Sections of South Canal Blvd will be closed temporarily during construction, but local access to area homes and businesses will remain open.  Weekly project updates can be found online at southcanalblvd.org.
