0

The Latino Community Association invites you to its Annual Empowering Families Luncheon, December 3 from 11:30am-1pm at the beautiful new home of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Bend. The Luncheon is an extremely important fundraiser for the Association and an opportunity to share with current and potential donors and community partners their annual impacts and future plans.

The program begins at 12pm and includes a web-streamed visit from founder Father Mike Walsh, client stories, and a brief keynote by Deschutes County Commissioner Tammy Baney.

The Latino Community Association provides vital, culturally-specific services that empower underserved Central Oregon families to thrive. These services include workforce education and training, health, legal, citizenship and basic needs assistance, as well as cultural enrichment activities. Annually, they impact the lives of nearly 7,000 adults and children through distinct services provided from their offices in Bend, Redmond and Madras. The Association has set a goal of establishing a Latino Family Empowerment Center in Bend and needs the community’s support to make it a reality for all of Central Oregon.

Join the Latino Community Association for a delicious and diverse small-plates lunch prepared by HOLA! Restaurant and learn how you can join us in making a difference in the lives of Central Oregon families! RSVP at http://empowering-families-luncheon.eventbrite.com or call us at 541-382-4366.
