Building a Better Central Oregon Selects 2016 Awardees

The Central Oregon Association of REALTORS (COAR) will present the 40th Annual Building a Better Central Oregon (BBCO) Awards on October 20 at The Riverhouse on the Deschutes.

BBCO’s main purpose is to recognize worthy residents who have enhanced their community with outstanding new or renovated residential, commercial or industrial buildings. Projects are judged on economic impact, neighborhood improvement, unique design or use of materials.

BBCO will present Terry Blackwell the Lifetime Achievement Award for all his work in creating and founding BBCO. The 2016 winners are:

  • COPA (Central Oregon Pediatric Associates)-Westside
  • Country Side Living of Redmond
  • The Desert Rain House
  • Erickson Aircraft Collection
  • Hope Playground at Sam Johnson Park
  • Murray Road Industrial Center
  • Silver Rail Elementary
  • St Charles – Prineville

The award presentation will take place at a reception at The Riverhouse on October 20 from 4–6pm. Tickets for the event are $25 and are available by calling 541-382-6027 or at www.coar.com.
