0

Highly regarded and successful nonprofit in Central Oregon is seeking the qualified candidate to replace the current 10 year executive director who is retiring. Incredible opportunity for an experienced nonprofit professional looking for that next level of leadership or perhaps a business professional with the right skill sets and demonstrated performance who is seeking a change in direction. This full time professional and exempt position will build and maintain the required financial, social and community capital via the stated mission focus below:

“CASA is committed to provide every abused or neglected child in foster care with a qualified and compassionate volunteer advocate who will fight for and protect their fundamental right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect and to learn and grow in the safe embrace of a loving family.”

CASA of Deschutes County was established in 1992 and in 2005 Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson Counties merged establishing CASA of Central Oregon. Currently, over 100 CASA volunteers donate their time to act as independent eyes and ears of the court and speak solely for the best interest of children and youth in foster care. They also make sure children do not get lost in the overburdened legal and social services system or languish in foster care. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer will be the one constant adult presence in their lives. CASA currently is supporting over 200 children and youth in foster care.
