You’ve talked to your banker, accountant, and attorney about the future of the family business, but have you talked to your family? Success or failure of passing the business on to the next generation relies heavily on how well the next generation is incorporated into the planning, management, and eventual ownership transfer. But conversations with family members can be much more difficult.

On May 20 the Austin Family Business Program brings the popular Family Business 360 breakfast program to Bend. Featured presenter Mark Wickman, of Wickman Paterson Corrigan, will be joined by special family business guest, Southern Oregon Sanitation, to talk about challenges facing multi-generational family enterprises. Wickman will share tools and techniques to begin and maintain those sometimes difficult conversations between generations who work together.

You don’t want to miss this valuable and informative session. You may want to attend with both generations of your family business. Breakfast will be provided and you will have the opportunityto network with other family business leaders. Registration is $40 per person, with a 25% discount available for multiple registrations. The session is open to family business owners, family members, and key personnel.
