With Eastlake Framing, a local woman-owned business.

For the last 30-plus years, Eastlake Framing has become a well-known name to Central Oregonians when it comes to custom framing; offering the highest quality products, service, and selection, all while providing top-of-the-line custom framing.

Deb Spicer, owner of Eastlake Framing, and her team are committed to offering the latest in picture framing and custom frames and are the exclusive dealer for several products that cannot be found anywhere else in Central Oregon. With new design trends bringing new and old together, materials like metals and reclaimed barnwood have become popular. The team at Eastlake has had fun pairing these particular materials with bright colors and textured mats that showcase the artwork.

Keeping it fresh is a priority for Deb, and she has been reinventing her business to meet the needs of her clientele. “Having been in Central Oregon for so long, we have really built valuable, long-lasting relationships over the years. We’re so extremely devoted to our customers and our community.”

Deb’s commitment to the art industry spans more than just her time with her framing shop; over four decades ago she began in the photo retouching and restoration business. Although she loves framing and could never step away from it, Deb went back to school to learn the technique and process of oil painting and frame restoration under a master ten years ago.

“I fell immediately, madly, passionately in love with it. I love doing it, everything about it. You have to be very patient and meticulous. It forces you to slow down the typical fast-paced lifestyle, almost like meditation. That’s why I love it,” Deb says with a smile.

Her favorite part of the process is preserving family history. Almost all of the paintings she works on are either of someone’s family member or were painted by someone’s family member. There is so much history and love in every piece. Pieces take shape during the restoration process; a dreary day may turn to sunshine, and customers often cry when they are able to see the completed pieces. Being able to add this new service to her business has been a fun and rewarding process for Deb and she looks forward to each new piece that comes in.

If you haven’t had the chance to visit Eastlake yet, stop by their shop. They are located on Galveston, next to the flaming chicken roundabout.
