The Human Bean Food Drive to Benefit NeighborImpact’s Food Bank

For a single donated item, patrons will receive $.50 off any order and a donation of two or more items will receive $1.00 off. The Human Bean will be accepting items such as canned vegetables, peanut butter, boxed meals, canned soups and stews and canned fruit until 8 pm Friday August 19. Cash donations will gladly be accepted as well. They have two locations on Bend’s East side: 1041 NE Ninth Street and 2220 NE Hwy 20 Suite 4.

Summer food drives are critical to NeighborImpact’s success in keeping up with the need for emergency food services throughout Central Oregon. Currently 16,000 individuals are accessing pantries, meal sites and brown bag sites throughout the tri-county area.
