Incumbent Work Seminar

BEND – It has been a hard few years for employers and employees. According to Cindy O’Neal, HR Manager for Cardinal Services, employers have had to make difficult decisions to stay in business. Employees have seen co-workers laid off, taken pay cuts, and taken on additional responsibilities just to have a job.

Businesses have invested time and money into training staff. Will these employees stick around when there are more job opportunities available?

Are these incumbent employees feeling appreciated and understood?

O’Neal will present The Care and Feeding of Your Incumbent Worker to area employers, on Tuesday, September 13, from 7:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at the Oxford Hotel, 10 NW Minnesota Avenue, Bend.

Topics to be covered include:

  • The differing perspectives between what an employee wants and what an employer thinks an employee wants.
  • What makes a business a company employees want to work for.
  • What some companies are doing to be in the top 100 Best companies to work for.
