106 public and private organizations have partnered with American Express OPEN and Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) to participate in the second annual Small Business Saturday, on November 26.

The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.

On November 26, we’re asking millions of Americans to Shop Small at their favorite local stores and help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be huge.

Small Business Saturday is the day after Black Friday and is designed as a day for shopping at local, independently-owned small businesses. The inaugural Small Business Saturday took the country by storm, generating national awareness of the importance of shopping at small, local retailers while driving spending during the most crucial shopping period of the year.

Organizations joining the Small Business Saturday Coalition include the American Booksellers Association – Indie Bound, Association of Small Business Development Centers, Enterprising Women, Hispanics Impacting Public Policy and National Small Business Association.
