This Saturday, June 2, 6:30–10pm you can join in the fun and fundraiser at the BendFilm Bash at Old Ironworks District – 50 Scott Street. Now in its 9th year, BendFilm Festival celebrates independent cinema’s brave voices by bringing thought-provoking, inspiring, and engaging films from all over the world to Central Oregon.

Unmistakably filmmaker-friendly, BendFilm has been deemed one of “25 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” by MovieMaker Magazine and declared “an important creation for filmmakers” by Gus Van Sant.  BendFilm has garnered acclaim from industry, media, audiences, and filmmakers alike. They offer cash prizes in several award categories. Sponsorships are still available for certain awards.

“We strive to assure every exhibiting filmmaker has a world-class festival experience,” says Orit Schwartz, executive director of BendFilm. “For those filmmakers attending the festival to screen their film we arrange host housing and transportation while in town as well as a pass to all films and parties, including opening and closing night, an invitation to the private filmmaker reception and much more.”

BendFilm puts its focus on filmmakers, catering to their every need. Pioneering filmmakers with an independent spirit.
