Laugh your way into summer with The Women’s Resource Center of Central Oregon (WRCCO) Saturday June 30, 6pm at the Bend Community Center, 1036 NE Fifth Street in Bend.  

Improv with Triage and Bella Acapella will entertain with clever theatre and gorgeous music at this fundraiser to support the programs of the Women’s Resource Center. Improv with Triage promises every night is a new show.  All characters and scenes are based on audience input, 100% improve.  Make suggestions, volunteer on stage or just sit back and watch – you make the show.  Join Mike Ficher, Carolyn Platt, Judi VanHouweling, Angela Lund, Lisa Fetrow, Paul Bennett and Rhonda Ealy for a night of fun.  

Bella Acappella Harmony, directed by Connie Norman, is an educational non-profit organization, a women’s acappella ensemble and the parent chorus of Harmony 4 Women. Bella Acapella is a new member of Sweet Adelines International and specializes in teaching and performing all styles of acappella singing and the American art form of barbershop harmony.  Members of Bella Acappella Harmony are committed to singing 4-part acappella harmony with joy and passion, and to achieving musical and performing excellence through mutual respect, dedication, education and community outreach.

All proceeds support the programs of the Women’s Resource Center.  Since 2003 the Women’s Resource Center of Central Oregon offers personal and professional development opportunities geared primarily to women through workshops, trainings, peer support, and counseling.  The Women’s Resource Center offers classes, workshops, support groups and affordable counseling to individuals in all walks of life.   In addition, the Center offers Partners in Transition, a training program offering support for newly homeless families with children in the Central Oregon area.  The organization served over 700 women and men last year.
