July 28 in just two hours you can perform wacky stunts, play goofy games and collect random paraphernalia along the way.

Downtown Bend, July 28: The Urban Scramble “Bend’s Wackiest Footrace” is in it’s second year, rebranded and brought back for another wacky adventure under it’s new name: Urban Scramble.

The start/finish line is at Troy Field in downtown Bend and the course will cover the span between there and the Old Mill marketplace. Individuals and teams will be given a map with clues and directions to stunt stations (hosted by local businesses) and trivia questions about local Bend. They will have two hours to walk or run their own course in order to collect as many points as they can by performing wacky stunts, playing goofy games and collecting random paraphernalia along the way.

At the end of two hours, teams turn in their maps and enjoy complimentary Deschutes Beer and water from Earth 2-0 while points are talled. Winners will receive prizes and bragging rights (awarded in 4 divisions plus other consolation prizes)! A wacky great time for the entire family! All ages welcome!

Registration is $20 for adults and $12 for children 14 and under. A portion of the proceeds to benefit Healthy Beginnings.

All ages welcome. Teams must stay together. No wheels allowed except for strollers and wheelchairs.

Registration is easy. Online: www.urbanscramble.evenbrite.com or in person at Footzone. Day of registration is available from 8:30-9:15am
