The event on September 13 is an evening of networking and a time to connect and converse with members from other teams. The organization will be recognizing the 2012 Member of the Year and 2012 Facilitator of the Year.

Opportunity Knocks is delighted to announce its Annual Celebration open to members and the Bend business community. This year there will be a special guest speaker for the event, Tate Metcalf. Tate is the current owner and general manager of the Sisters Athletic Club and former Mountain View High School track coach. He recently attended the London Olympics where he was cheering on decathlon Gold Medal winner Ashton Eaton, his one-time track student.

“The Annual Celebration is a great opportunity for potential members to learn more about the organization and for members to renew friendships with their business peers,” said Opportunity Knocks director of membership, Eric Meade.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 13 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Point building at 929 SW Simpson in Bend. Light appetizers and drinks will be served and the cost is $15 per person. The organization’s annual meeting will precede the annual celebration. There is no charge to attend the annual meeting.
