Prineville Chamber: New Digs on Third Street

The Prineville Chamber of Commerce hopes to support local business as well as attract new business and promote tourism from a more visible location at 785 NW Third Street.

Earlier this year mold was discovered in the facility that has housed the Chamber of Commerce since 2010. This discovery presents health and safety concerns for staff and visitors to the site, so the board of directors has opted to move the Chamber office.

The air quality in the current offices is compromised. The roof again suffered several leaks in the last rain, causing several computers to be lost, as well as a quantity of printed material to be ruined. The board is therefore looked for a better location for offices that are both healthy for its employees and its visitors, as well as more visible to those wishing to find the Chamber’s location.

The new offices formally home to Prineville Real Estate, are conveniently located on Third Street in Prineville.

“It is essential that we, as a Chamber board of directors, provide a safe and healthy location for our employees and visitors.  Unfortunately, ongoing air quality and mold issues at the existing building compromise our ability to do so.  The board of directors have secured a new location at 785 NW 3rd Street.” says Chamber Board President Ed Yoder.

“Our new location not only provides us with safe working conditions, it also allows for greater visibility and accessibility to the community and visitors. We look forward to a healthy and effective New Year!”

The move will be complete by the end of the year and the Chamber staff and leadership look forward to welcoming you and your business to the new facility.
