Legal, tax and insurance experts to explain how changes in healthcare laws will impact businesses in Oregon

Central Oregon employers concerned about how healthcare reform laws will affect their businesses in 2013 and beyond can get their most detailed questions answered at a nonpartisan educational session coming to Bend on Thursday, January 31. ”Healthcare Reform: What Oregon Employers Need to Know,” presented by PacificSource Health Plans, will be aimed at employers of all sizes as well as local business leaders looking to gain actionable information to lead their companies through the implementation of health insurance exchanges and other provisions of the law.

A panel of experts, including attorneys, CPAs and health plan executives, will be on hand to dispel misconceptions and answer legal, tax and insurance questions related to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. While the groundbreaking healthcare law passed nearly three years ago, 2013 marks the first year that the reforms will have a significant impact on employers and group health plans.
