The Oregon ADDY Awards Call for Entries Deadline February 6

Advertising and marketing agencies, individuals and students statewide are invited to participate for national recognition in the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, March 16 at the Riverhouse Convention Center.

The prestigious Oregon ADDY® Awards Call for Entries is officially open, with the deadline and submission party scheduled for Wednesday, February 6. The Oregon ADDY® Awards is a part of the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition attracting over 50,000 entries every year nationally and conducted annually by AdFed, an American Advertising Federation (AAF) club as the first of a three-tier, national competition.

Advertising and marketing individuals, agencies and students from throughout Oregon are invited to enter their work for award recognition and participate in the ADDY® Awards gala taking place on March 16.

To submit creative work for inclusion in the awards show, participants are encouraged to attend one of the Call for Entries events on Wednesday, February 6 at several locations throughout the state, or visit www.oregonaddys.com for details on digital or mail submissions. Top award winners will advance to the national ADDY® Awards competition (included in entry fee).

The ADDY® Awards is honored to host three internationally renowned creative professionals to judge the 2013 Oregon ADDYs® entries. Judges include Kat Gordon, Founder at Maternal Instinct; Kevin McCarthy, Co-Executive Creative Director at renowned DDB Agency in Los Angeles; and a Group Creative Director for DDB Worldwide, Tim Girvin, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of GIRVIN, Inc. Judging will take place February 16; entry winners will be announced at the gala on March 16.

Awards Gala

When: Saturday, March 16
Where: Riverhouse Convention Center, Bend, Oregon

Entry winners will be announced at the awards gala, followed by a fun-filled awards party featuring hors d’oeuvres, drinks and celebration. Entries that win a Gold or Silver Award are automatically forwarded to the next level of competition, via AAF’s District XI. District XI includes Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Gold winners from the District XI level are then eligible to compete in the AAF National ADDY® Awards. Winners will be announced at the AAF Conference in June in Phoenix.

Tickets for the gala can be purchase for $65 per person for professionals, $50 for students at www.oregonaddys.com. Early bird professional ticket deadline is March 1, 2013.
