This year marks the 17th anniversary for this event in Sunriver (Central Oregon). As the jewel of long course triathlons here in the Northwest, the Pacific Crest Weekend Sport Festival Long Course Triathlon has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation! Triathletes who have competed around the country have said that this is one of the most scenic courses they have raced.

Additionally both Half-Marathon & Marathon are part of the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival. The Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier race.

For families – In 2012, AA Sports introduced the Tour de Crest event to the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival on Friday, June 28. The Pacific Crest brings many families to beautiful Sunriver & Central Oregon with two bike rides for the non-triathletes in the family to ride on parts (Long Course Triathlon) or all (Olympic Triathlon) of the roads the triathletes themselves will compete on during the following days. These rides also open the opportunity for the whole family to participate together in the same event.

Lastly, the 5K & 10K Run/Walks were added in 2003 to provide an opportunity for everyone in the family to have an event to participate during the Pacific Crest Weekend. Over the years Pacific Crest has become one of the top athletic events in the Northwest, and has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation with an anticipated 5,500+ athletes, plus family and friends.  The event includes a Sports & Fitness Expo, 3 Kids events, plenty of live entertainment, food booths, a Desctues Brewery beer garden, and the beautiful scenery.

Competitive events include: Long Course Triathlon, Endurance Duathlon, Marathon, Half-Marathon, Olympic Distance Triathlon & Duathlon, and 10K & 5K Run/Walks.
