Saving Grace to Hold Volunteer Training to Assist Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Survivors

Saving Grace will hold its semi-annual volunteer training over the course of three weeks starting Saturday, April 5 through Thursday, April 24. The 40-hour training, which will be held over a series of Tuesday and Thursday evenings and three Saturdays (excepting one Monday), will prepare volunteers to work directly with the individuals Saving Grace serves.

The training fee is $75 to those willing to make a volunteer commitment of one year (scholarships available).

After the training, volunteers will be able help with a variety of services including; answering hotline calls, assisting shelter residents, facilitating support groups, working with children, and assisting with restraining orders. Saving Grace has a particular need for hotline.
