Long-time Bend medical practice signs 10-year lease at the healthcare development in NorthWest Crossing. The Shevlin Health and Wellness Center is currently under construction at the SW corner of Shevlin Park Road and NW Crossing Drive. Fratzke Commercial Real Estate is actively seeking tenants in specialty medical services, general healthcare, pediatric, dentistry, wellness, holistic care, fitness and even veterinary. Developer Taylor Brooks LLC is a partnership between long-time Central Oregon companies Taylor Northwest and Brooks Resources Corporation.

Shevlin Health and Wellness Center, a new healthcare complex being developed in NorthWest Crossing, announced that High Lakes Health Care will be the anchor tenant in the new project. The independent, primary care practice signed a lease agreement with developer Taylor Brooks LLC and plans to open in late 2014.

Dan McCarthy, CEO of High Lakes Health Care said, “This new site and our growth is a symbol of the tremendous work all of our staff have done creating a better experience for our patient. As we continue to grow and expand, we are very much looking forward to being the anchor – and first – tenant at this state-of-the-art health and wellness center on Bend’s west side.”

High Lakes Health Care, which is a part of the Praxis Medical Group network, will be opening in a 7,500 square foot space in the first of the center’s 11 planned single-story medical buildings. BBT Architects designed the complex to blend with the surrounding neighborhood through a combination of contemporary and traditional styles. High Lakes is the first confirmed tenant for the project.

“High Lakes Health Care has been a trusted name in our community for many years, and we are looking forward to welcoming them as our anchor tenant,” said Todd Taylor of Taylor Brooks, the developer of the project. “Having a strong primary care provider, along with our plans to have many specialty providers on site, will make Shelvin Health and Wellness Center the first comprehensive campus of its kind on Bend’s west side.”

Located on the corner of Shevlin Park and NW Crossing Drive on Bend’s west side, the campus will include eleven separate buildings and is anchored by High Lakes Health Care. Buildings are single-story structures for healthcare providers focused on dental, physical therapy, radiology, eye care, orthopedic, general medicine and pharmacy. Campus features will include excellent parking, high quality improvements and professional management.
