BLRB|GGL Architects, a northwest architecture firm, is the recipient of two prestigious awards given by the Daily Journal of Commerce Oregon at their 2011 Top Projects Awards Event, held on May 26 in Portland.
Oxford Hotel of Bend earned second place in the Private Buildings: $5.1-$15 million category. Little Deschutes Lodge, Senior Affordable Housing, Phase I of La Pine earned third place in the Private Buildings: $1-$5 million category.
Projects nominated emerged from Oregon and Southwest Washington that were completed in 2010. Projects were judged based on numerous measures of the overall project. Oxford Hotel and Little Deschutes Lodge Phase I are the only two projects to receive top honors from Central Oregon.
The Project Team for Little Deschutes Lodge Phase I also included Pacific Crest Affordable Housing llc, Pario Design, D’Agostino Parker llc, Solarc Engineering Inc., Walker Structural Engineering llc, Knight Mechanical llc and SunWest Builders.
The Project Team for the Oxford Hotel included Baney Corp./Oxford Hotel Group, ATP Engineering, DCI Engineers, David Evans and Associates Inc and DeGree Builders and Contractors Inc.
