Buddhist Monk Erik Jung to offer a weekend of inspiring teachings at Blue Skies Healing Arts in Bend, February 21-23

From Friday, February 21 through Sunday, February, 23, Buddhist practitioner and monk Erik Jung will be in Bend to offer a weekend of free* teachings (*offering suggested) entitled Why Am I Here? Living an Inspired Life, at Blue Skies Healing Arts in Bend. Jung, who splits his time between Portland and the Dzogchen Retreat Center in Eugene, is a passionate and inspiring teacher who is a life-long Buddhist practitioner and monk with the Dzogchen Longchen Nyingthig Lineage of Mahayana Buddhism. He is under the guidance of His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche.

Monk Erik Jung is known and loved for his ability to share Buddhist teaching in a simple and lighthearted way. Jung’s Buddhist teachings are designed to help students apply these principles to be happier and suffer less in their everyday lives. No previous Buddhist experience is necessary to attend, and those from all spiritual backgrounds are welcome.

Interested people may join for any or all of the following sessions (free or donation):

Jung grew up with his father practicing and studying with a Mahayana Buddhist teacher from the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. For many years Jung has been a student of His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche.

Rinpoche is the 33rd generation holder of the Dzogchen lineage, he is a lama of the Dzogchen Monastery, a professor of the Dzogchen Shri Singha University, spiritual leader of Dzogchen Shri Singha International, founder of the Dzogchen Shri Singha Dharma Centers and director of Dzogchen Shri Singha International Charitable Organizations. Rinpoche has written more than 30 books on the five major sciences and currently teaches Dharma and gives practice training to thousands of students, in more than 40 countries around the world.

The workshop location in NorthWest Crossing is Blue Skies Healing Arts, 2789 Clearwater Drive, Suite 200. No reservation is required.
