Ambient Architecture, LLC, is now Ascent Architecture & Interiors. The new name better reflects the firm’s progressive nature and growth over the past two years, as well as its integrated commercial architecture and interior-design services, said Seth Anderson, the firm’s principal architect.

“Two things became clear as our team revisited our mission and core values earlier this year–we work as trusted guides to help clients through the design and construction processes, and we’re always challenging ourselves to provide clients with the highest standard of technical know-how and service in our fields,” said Anderson.

“Architecture and interior design are constantly evolving, and it’s important to us that we keep pace with change and continually deliver a national-level of service and expertise. We wanted to reflect that in our name.”

In addition to Anderson, Ascent Architecture & Interiors’ team includes Senior Project Architect Krista Appleby, Interior Designer Lynn Baker, Operations Assistant Jenny Chesley, Design Professional Sara Laudenslayer and Design Professional Travis Smith.

Ascent is currently working on commercial, medical and senior-living community projects throughout Oregon, California and Texas. Highlights include a 130,000-square-foot independent-living community in Katy, Texas; a 76,000-square-foot assisted-living and memory-care community in Pharr, Texas; a Blue Mountain Hospital remodel in John Day, Oregon; Wild Ride Brewing in Redmond and Redmond Pharmacy & Compounding Center in Redmond.
