Outdoor Roundtable Rebrands as Oregon Outdoor Alliance

0

The Outdoor Roundtable, an organization formed two years ago to connect and cultivate the existing community of retailers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, wholesalers, reps, freelancers, designers and consultants in Central Oregon, rebranded themselves as the Oregon Outdoor Alliance (OOA) deciding the need for an industry-wide organization was present state-wide, not just in the high desert.

A new logo and website announced the name change and resources are being developed for members including a job posting/seeking component and access to a master list of all outdoor companies in the area. Other tools members can benefit from include Business Oregon, Grow Oregon, Bend Outdoor Worx, EDCO and the Small Business Development Center.

The OOA meets every other month, the next taking place at Pine Mountain Sports on January 14 at 5:30pm. Each session includes a tour and/or a brief discussion of the host business’s operations, a keynote speaker from the outdoor industry or panel discussion and networking (with beer!).

An exclusive OOA Silipint is sold at the meetings, and members are encouraged to bring their Silipint to each meeting to enjoy free beer by one of the OOA sponsors.
