No school? No problem! Turn that “day off” into a day of creativity and fun!
Camp Fire Central Oregon, a local organization that provides co-ed programs for
our youth to find their spark and ensure they gain the skills necessary to thrive throughout their lives is taking registration for their upcoming No-School Day Camps December 21-23 and Dec. 28-30.
Camp Fire Central Oregon knows how hard it is to balance work and kids during these
days and is offering two sessions of camps for your kids to have fun and find creative ways to
spend their time. Sign up your kids for individual days or for the entire week of camp. Cost is
$45/day for non-members, $40/day for members. Save an additional $15 off when you sign up for all three camp days. Both No-School Day camps will be held at the Environmental Center.
“Our trained and professional camp counselors strive to foster an encouraging, respectful environment.
Every No-School Day Camp is filled with fun games, engaging activities, new friends,
and plenty of opportunities to explore and apply a growth mindset. All young people (from
kindergarten through 8th grade) should enjoy our lively, thought-provoking themes this year,” said Kecia Kubota, Executive Director of Camp Fire Central Oregon.
The theme of the first No-School Day Camp, December 21-23 is Holiday Craft & Gifts.

The theme of the second No-School Day Camp, December 28-30 is Healthy New Year
Get those resolutions ready and gear up for the New Year! 2016 is sure to be your best year
ever, because you’re going to set the intention and create a growth-mindset oriented plan to
make it awesome. Of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to play, reflect, and learn
about all the different ways you can thrive. Sign up!
Please help us make this camp a success. Registration deadline for the first camp, December
21 – 23 is December 17th. Registration for the second camp December 28-30 is December 24th.
