Single show tickets for the 7th Annual BendBroadband’s Jazz at the Oxford are now available for sale online at jazzattheoxford.com or by calling 503.432.9477.

For five weekends from October through March, world-class jazz comes to the OXFORD hotel’s intimate jazz ballroom located in the heart of downtown Bend. Shows will be at 8:00 pm on Fridays, and at 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Saturdays. 10below Restaurant, located in the lower level of the OXFORD hotel, will continue to serve delightful food and drinks in the jazz room during the performances.

The 2016 – 2017 lineup includes the world’s most recorded drummer, Bernard “Pretty” Purdie; the unique sound of jazz duo Tuck & Patti; pop- and rock-influenced jazz from The Bad Plus; straight-ahead jazz from The Brubeck Brothers Quartet; and the translucent voice of Sara Gazarek accompanied by premier guitar ensemble New West Guitar Group. The series Executive Producer is Patrick Lamb Productions, a name well known in the jazz community.

“The public has enthusiastically responded to our lineup this year. We broke our series pass ticket sales record for the 4th year straight,” said Ben Perle, Oxford Corporate’s Regional Vice President of Operations. “We’re thrilled that the series is thriving and are thankful for our sponsors and the community; without their support, we would not be able to bring world-class musicians year after year to the Bend area.”

The complete schedule, lineup and ticket prices for each show in the 7th annual series:

  • October 21 – 22, 2016: Bernard “Pretty” Purdie; $45 plus fees.
  • November 18 – 19, 2016: Tuck & Patti; $47 plus fees.
  • January 13 – 14, 2017: The Bad Plus; $50 plus fees.

Georges Bouhey will continue to host the series’ free music education workshops, allowing local artists and music enthusiasts to talk, play with and learn from world-class performers. Workshops will be held on the Saturday of the performance weekend in October, February and March beginning at 11:15 am.

Without our generous sponsors, this series would not be possible: BendBroadband, Zolo Media, The Bulletin, Douglas Fine Jewelry Design, Bank of the Cascades, Subaru of Bend and 10below Restaurant.
