The Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory will host the third annual FungiFest & Mushroom Show, presented in partnership with the Central Oregon Mushroom Club, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10am to 3pm. The all-day event will include a display showcasing hundreds of species of fungi from across Oregon; guided mushroom walks; cooking demonstrations and tastings led by Chef Zachary Mazi; crafts and activities for children; information and resources for mushroom enthusiasts of all levels; food trucks featuring special mushroom menus; and a mushroom marketplace with a variety of vendors selling fresh and dried mushrooms, assorted mushroom culinary products, books, artwork and more.
