Every day at our shelters it’s our mission to end the needless suffering of animals in Central Oregon. Whether it’s taking in large litters of puppies and kittens (it’s been a banner year for kittens and for puppies-we had 47 puppies at once this fall in Madras!), rescuing neglected dogs or ensuring that senior animals get the care they need–we are here for you and for them!

The 12 Days of Dogs and Cats Holiday Auction goes live at 12:01am

Shop amazing gifts for your four-legged and two-legged loved ones in our 12 Days of Dogs and Cats Holiday Auction! from December 1-12.
We’ve worked so hard to get ready for this special event! And now we’re auctioning and offering more than 100 pet-related gifts, art, Stetson hats, vacation getaways, locally made jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, baskets of goodies and so much more.
Our goal is to raise at least $20,000 to help cover the costs of operating our two shelters in Madras and The Dalles. Please don’t be shy with your bidding!
Check back every day to read a new and heartwarming adoption story posted at the auction site and track your favorite items.
Gift certificates will be mailed by December 15. All tangible items will be available for pick up at our Pet Portraits with Santa Open House events on December 17 and 18 (see below!), or at our Bend pick-up in the Target parking lot from 12-2pm on Sunday, December 19.

Don’t Miss Our Pet Portrait with Santa Open Houses!
Bring your furry family members down to meet Santa and pose for a holiday keepsake by donation. For those who donated to or bid in our 12 Days of Dogs and Cats, you are invited to take a portrait for free or provide a donation if you wish. Auction winners may also pick up items during these events. Treats provided for humans and animals alike!
