Bringing Reusables to Bend

In our most recent blog, Rethink Waste Program Manager Kavi Chokshi introduced a new idea we’re hoping to pilot here in Bend with reusable food containers and food carts.

Learn more about the inspiration behind the idea, and fill out a survey to let us know your thoughts here!

Attend a Solarize Deschutes Learning Workshop

Solarize Deschutes is a campaign designed by and for community members to help more people access solar at an affordable rate. We’re also excited to teach you about community solar options, if installing solar at home is not an option. Come learn with us at one of our upcoming workshops! Monday, September 9 in Bend or Tuesday, September 10 in Redmond!

Move Oregon Forward:

Join the Push for Safe, Clean, Fair, Accountable Transportation

Join us on September 12 as Oregon legislators come to Bend to hear your input on transportation priorities. We’re looking for passionate community members to share two-minute testimonies on the importance of safe, climate-friendly transportation options! You can use this form created by Central Oregon LandWatch to sign up to testify, or email our Climate & Transportation Policy Manager Neil@envirocenter.org if you would like more information!
