August 22, 10am -2pm will be a day full of all things Oregon – local food producers, farms, ranchers and more! Come out to sample products, meet the producers, hear their stories, and support local.
Meet The Maker Markets are a collaborative effort between High Desert Food and Farm Alliance and Whole Foods Market that seek to engage local shoppers with Central Oregon farmers, producers, and ranchers. These annual “pop-up” markets allow farmers to reach a broader customer base that might otherwise not have discovered the myriad of local products available within the region.
Meet the Maker Markets are part of a larger initiative from Whole Foods Market called “From Around Here” in which Whole Foods Market strives to support its local community by carrying and promoting products that are grown, raised, harvested, produced or within Oregon.
