Stand On Liquid, a stand up paddleboard company, is the exclusive retailer for a limited edition Smokey Bear Air inflatable paddleboard package in honor of the iconic character’s 75th birthday. In addition to the 11-foot Smokey Bear Air paddleboard, the package includes a travel backpack, high pressure pump, three-piece adjustable fiberglass paddle, coil ankle leash, patch kit and an eight-inch fin.
Ten percent of the sales of Smokey Bear Air paddleboards will be donated to wildfire prevention programs by Smokey Zone, the Bend-based manufacturer of the boards.
“I grew up with Smokey Bear and his message of ‘only you can prevent wildfires,’” said Stand On Liquid owner Rob McDonald. “It’s a thrill to help play a small part in the 75th celebration of his legacy while also generating proceeds that benefit wildfire prevention.”
Designed by Stand On Liquid for all-around performance, the Smokey Bear Air inflatable paddleboard is adaptable to many uses including flatwater paddling, stand up surfing and SUP yoga. With a 32-inch wide and low-rocker outline, the Smokey Bear Air provides excellent stability for beginner and intermediate paddlers. The board graphics feature Smokey Bear’s face with the message, “please be careful.”
