Renowned Economist to Lead Discussion on Portland Metro’s Economic Outlook at SELCO Economic Forecast Breakfast June 20

John Mitchell, one of Oregon’s most authoritative economic voices, will be leading a discussion at SELCO Community Credit Union’s Economic Forecast Breakfast on the economic outlook of the Portland Metro area and beyond. The SELCO Economic Forecast Breakfast — hosted by SELCO’s Commercial & Business Banking division — is scheduled for Thursday, June 20.

Mitchell, an economics fellow at the University of Oregon and the former chief economist at U.S. Bancorp, is a well-known economist in the state, who has spent nearly 50 years studying the U.S. and Oregon economies. At the SELCO Economic Forecast Breakfast, Mitchell will explore the future of the Portland Metro, regional, and national economies, and what that forecast’s implications are on the financial markets.

The Economic Forecast Breakfast will be held at Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, and it is open to business owners and entrepreneurs interested the future of Portland’s economy. It is free to attend. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
