Tetherow Expanding Meeting Place Potential

Tetherow Resort will ring in the new year with new developments. Rounding out the resort’s current amenities, the additions include a vacation rental home neighborhood, swimming pool, year-round event pavilion and adventure cabins. On deck are golf course enhancements that will empower all levels of golfers with more playability on the David McLay Kidd designed Tetherow golf course. All developments are scheduled for completion by Summer 2016.
The new event pavilion will boast retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors to take full advantage of natural light and the sweeping golf course and Cascade mountain views. With 3,600 square feet of versatile space, the pavilion will offer a variety of room sizes and meeting configurations, as well as a separate boardroom and executive meeting space. The facility will create a place for year-round corporate retreats, meetings, events and weddings and can host events from 12 to 350 people.
“We are eager to offer community members and visitors to Tetherow a top notch, full-service resort experience,” says Chris van der Velde, co-owner of Tetherow Resort.”The expansion of meeting and event space will provide another great place for the Central Oregon community as a whole to come together and host events with outrageous views.
Construction of the much-anticipated Tetherow pool began in November. Housed in the heart of the resort, the pool will be available to Tetherow members and hotel guests. Following its eco-friendly standards, the building will feature solar panels to ensure a comfortable, heated outdoor pool experience all year round while cabanas, water features, a wine café and hot tubs will provide a luxurious way for guests to retreat to total relaxation.
Tetherow will be overhauling its practice range and renovating the green complex on hole number five. The practice range developments will include earth-moving ventures to expand and shape a new tee, along with additional irrigation zones. A new putting green will be constructed, located directly north and below the existing green.
