2023 Oregon Technology Award Nominations Have Opened

For 39 years Oregon Technology Awards has celebrated excellence and achievement in the region’s technology industry.

This coming May, our community will gather to recognize nine companies for their accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to the industry and community.

*The Individual Awards will be celebrated in September at an intimate dinner for our finalists.

2023 Sam Blackman Award

Named for AWS Elemental Founder & CEO and 2015 Technology Executive of the Year Sam Blackman, recognizes executives of Oregon and SW Washington based technology companies for excellence in industry leadership as well as an individual’s positive impact in the greater community. *

Formerly the Oregon Technology Executive Award

The process for nomination and selection has changed for 2023.

Friday, February 9, 2023: The Decision Committee, consisting of past Technology Executives of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Tech Champion Award winners, will determine finalists for the Sam Blackman Award.

Friday, March 17th, 2023: Sam Blackman Award finalist’s interviews and second round of questions conclude.

April 2023: The Decision Committee will make the selection on the winner.

September 2023-Finalists and Winner announced.

2023 Company Awards

There is no cost for entry. Nominations may be submitted in more than one award category, and companies do not have to be a member of the Technology Association of Oregon to apply or to win.

The Technology Association of Oregon is excited to unveil a new schedule and pricing for the 2022 Oregon Technology Awards. In addition to providing lower cost opportunities for our community to network and celebrate safely in-person, we’ll be offering a livestream of the awards ceremony directly from the Oregon Convention Center.
