Come join us on Friday, May 31 for the third annual Popsicles in the Park fundraising event brought to you by the Crook County Health Department and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). The event will be at Ochoco Creek Park also known as the Castle Park from 3:30-6:30pm where we will be celebrating our tobacco, drug and alcohol free parks.
Everyone is invited to join us at this wonderful event and there will be plenty of activities for people of all ages including games, face painting, a dunk tank, and back by popular demand we will have our bag toss tournament fundraiser. The sign up cost is $20 for a team of two people and the tournament starts at 4:00pm. The money raised with this tournament will be put toward an opportunity for the SADD group to take students to the SADD National Conference in Arizona June 23- 26.
This conference is a great opportunity for students to have access to workshops, learning sessions and keynote speakers as well as the networking with conference sponsors and hundreds of SADD students from all around the country engaging in the same community work our students are doing for Crook County. The SADD members at the Crook County High School have worked very hard this year educating their peers and would love your support at this end of the year event.
