“Public engagement helps us understand how proposed changes may affect the people we serve,” said Letha Tawney, PUC Chair. “We want Avion’s customers to have clear, convenient ways to share their perspectives as we evaluate this request.”

About the Avion Water Rate Proposal:
Avion Water Company has filed a request for a general rate revision, asking to increase their current rates by 10.28 percent. In its application, the company explains that the additional revenue is needed to support system investments, operations, and maintenance. The filing is under review by the PUC, and public input is an important part of that process.
