The Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO) will present the High Desert Nonprofit Leaders Conference on October 7 at the Riverhouse Hotel & Convention Center. The conference will provide specific tracks for leaders, volunteer managers and board members to learn valuable tools as well as network with other nonprofit leaders.
Breakout sessions include Board Culture, Funder perspectives on Smart Stewardship, The Five W’s of Volunteer Management, Best Practices in Nonprofit Governance, All About Impact, and Equipping, Supporting & recognizing Volunteers.
Award-winning author and national consultant, Peter Brinckerhoff, will present the keynote entitled Smart Stewardship for Nonprofits. A preconference reception is being held on October 6 from 5– 6pm in partnership with the Oregon Arts Commission at the Deschutes Public Library.
