Local nonprofit Partners In Care invites community members in Central Oregon to its engaging, in-person education series. For the past 18 years, Partners In Care has been providing no-cost community education on a myriad of topics such as preparing for end of life, facing a serious illness, and caregiver tips and resources.
The next community education class of 2026 at Partners In Care is “Healthy Aging: Benefits of Physical and Speech Therapy.” This class is presented at no cost on Thursday, August 27th, from 11:30am-1pm in the Wyatt Room at Partners In Care in Bend located at 2611 NE Courtney Drive. Lunch will graciously be provided at no cost by Whispering Winds Retirement at 11:15am.
Partners In Care welcomes David Seck, DPT, board-certified neurologic physical therapist and co-owner of Spark Rehab and Wellness, and Allison Phillips, CCC-SLP, speech-language pathologist and owner of Sagebrush Speech Therapy. Together, David and Allison will share important information about how these therapies improve mobility, balance, communication, memory, swallowing, and overall quality of life. Whether you’re experiencing age-related changes yourself or supporting a loved one, you’ll learn practical ways therapy can help address common challenges and promote healthy aging.
