SafeSplash Swim School, a premier learn-to-swim and performance-based swim school, announces its newest location, SafeSplash Bend, at 20467 Nels Anderson Place in Bend.
The school will officially open with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 12, 2026, featuring giveaways, music and games.
The school is owned by Kristyn Deckard, Chase Jaffarian and Grant Jaffarian, a team bringing together decades of competitive swimming, coaching and athletic experience. Deckard swam competitively at the national level through college, has coached both club and Division I programs, and worked as a team manager for USA Swimming’s National and Junior National teams.
Chase Jaffarian spent four years as a high school strength and conditioning coach and continues to swim competitively. Grant Jaffarian is a former competitive triathlete.
For Deckard, the opening is also a homecoming. Born and raised in Bend, she recently moved back to the area after more than 16 years away, returning to open a business that will serve the community she grew up in.
“We are so excited to have the opportunity to raise safe and efficient swimmers, of all ages, so they can enjoy all that nature has to offer,” Deckard said.
SafeSplash Bend is also proud to offer the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise, a structured swim program designed to achieve clear, outcome-driven results, serving as a key differentiator in the swim school space.
The program promises tangible results within one year, with up to two additional months of free lessons if goals aren’t met. Supported by NDPA, the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise is designed to address the childhood drowning epidemic by teaching critical skills, including floating, rolling to breathe and swimming to safety.
