Celebrate the grand opening of Cascade Landing on Thursday, October 15 from 2:30-4pm at 60696 SW Atwood Drive, Bend.
Join community members, project partners and local leaders as we celebrate the opening of this new affordable housing community. The event will feature remarks from local and state leaders, refreshments, and guided tours of the property.
Cascade Landing is a new 98-unit affordable housing community offering one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for households earning 60 percent or less of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Cascade Landing was developed through a partnership between Home First Development and Green Light Development, which led the project’s development, financing and construction. The community was supported by the City of Bend through City Council-awarded resources funded by the Affordable Housing Fee and Commercial and Industrial Construction Tax, as well as cost-reduction programs including property tax exemptions for income-qualified housing and system development charge exemptions for affordable housing. These local investments complemented funding secured in 2024 from Oregon Housing and Community Services, helping make the construction of this much-needed affordable housing community possible.
