Business owners in Central Oregon now have a new tool available to them through their local Small Business Development Center at Central Oregon Community College. GrowthWheel, developed by renowned Danish entrepreneur David Madie, is designed to help companies focus on areas critical to their particular situation, and to take action to move their business forward.
This month, business advisors at COCC’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) completed GrowthWheel certification training. Advisors at the SBDC will be using GrowthWheel to assist business clients in all aspects of operating a successful business, including business concept, organization, customer relations and operations.
GrowthWheel is an internationally recognized business growth tool used by almost 1,500 business advisors worldwide.
“The idea behind GrowthWheel,” says Madie, founder and CEO of GrowthWheel International, Inc., “is that there are four personal core disciplines that are crucial for the development of a company: You need to have an overview to maintain holistic perspective and understanding of the development. You need to make progress by focusing on the actions that make a difference for the development of the company. With GrowthWheel, SBDC clients will be able to focus their time and energy on the areas of business that they most need to address. The tool will be used to create a framework for making decisions and taking action.
