Opportunity Knocks, Central Oregon’s small business advisory organization, will host a Best Practices Seminar on Practical Finance on February 11 at the Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Bend from 11:30-1pm with lunch included.
The seminar will help attendees learn how financial statements can help to operate your business and how they can help you understand what’s going on in your business. Information will be presented on how to reconcile your income to your cash flow and how to develop metrics relevant to your business. Other components covered will include Understanding your Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow and Key Performance Indicators.
Presenters of the seminar are Greg Fowler, CPA, CFP Fowler & Co., Inc. and Kristin Wigle, CPA Partner at Riley Wigle CPAs, LLC. Fowler has an extensive public accounting background with 20 years of experience in tax and financial planning and has taught over 100 equity compensation planning training seminars. Wigle, has been practicing public accounting for 15 years, preparing tax returns, providing tax consulting, compiling financial statements and working with clients on business purchases and sales.
