Two nights of high quality, thought-provoking films that celebrate mountain people, culture, adventure, conservation and the power of film to create social change, February 27-28. The event showcases the very best of Telluride’s Mountainfilm Festival, an annual film festival in Colorado synonymous with the world’s finest filmmaking. Each night will feature different films.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Environmental Center, a local non-profit organization that works to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon. We help people live, work, play and learn in ways that will ensure a healthy future for people and the planet.
MountainFilm on Tour is a great fit for Bend and we are excited to bring it back for the 12th year,” says Mike Riley, Executive Director of The Environmental Center. “The films this year are a great mix of adventure and culture from around the globe that will inspire important conversations, at the event and afterwards.”
The event includes a raffle sponsored by Skjersaa’s Sports Shop with prizes that include a pair of skis, outdoor gear, and additional prize packages from local businesses. Raffle tickets will be sold each night at the event.
