Bend’s Community Center (BCC) announces the fourth Annual Foodie Crawl on Sunday, April 26 from 3–7pm followed by an After Party with desserts, a complimentary glass of McMenamins champagne, live music from Subject to Change and a silent auction at McMenamins Old St. Francis School, from 6-8pm.
The Foodie Crawl, a combination of ‘progressive dinner’ and ‘pub crawl,’ is a celebration of local food and drink where participants sample small plates and beverage pairings from chefs and restaurants in downtown Bend. Guests set their own pace, exploring each stop on the tour at their leisure. This is a mobile feast, unlike any other event in Central Oregon to celebrate the important role Bend’s Community Center has within our community.
Proceeds from the event will benefit BCC’s Feed the Hungry program, which provides more than 2,000 meals each week to those in need. Tickets are $75 per person and are available online, at BCC, 1036 NE Fifth Street in Bend from 9am to 4:30pm or by calling 541-312-2069.
Some of the participating chefs and restaurants include: The Wine Shop, Hola! (downtown), Jackalope Grill, Spork (at a downtown location), Tetherow (at Sotheby’s downtown), 900 Wall, Dogwood Cabin, Brickhouse, Drake, the Victorian Café (at a downtown location), Chow (at a downtown location), Townshend’s Teahouse, Brother John’s, Kebaba (at a downtown location), Broken Top Bottle Shop (at a downtown location) and Humm Kombucha. After party desserts will be hosted by Bleu Bite Catering, Cascade Catering and the COCC Cascade Culinary Institute Pastry Department.
Many thanks to the current sponsors, including: McMenamins, Ascent Architecture and Interiors, LK Design, SWPR Group and Miller Lumber.
