Sun Country Tours kicks off its popular Raft n’ Brew whitewater rafting trips this Wednesday, July 1, in partnership with local breweries and non-profit organizations. This special edition of the Big Eddy Thriller rafting trip will take place every Wednesday at 4:30pm through August 26 and includes a complimentary beer tasting after a whitewater adventure on the Upper Deschutes River just outside of Bend.
Each week, Sun Country Tours partners with a different local brewery to highlight their craft beers, and half of all proceeds from each Raft n’ Brew will benefit various local charities. Tickets for Raft n’ Brew are $53 each, and guests must be 21 or older.
“We are excited to combine two iconic Bend experiences, whitewater rafting and craft beer, to create a unique experience for visitors and locals,” said Sun Country Tours President Dennis Oliphant. “The added bonus of being able to help local charities with their fundraising supports our business philosophy of giving back to the community whenever we have the opportunity.”
