2016 heralds the launch of Ultra Architecture, a full service firm specializing in commercial, residential, industrial, technological and socially beneficial architecture- based in Bend with a Northwest presence.
Ultra may be a new business however, Principal Architect and Founder RJ Johnson is by no means new to the business of advancing exceptional architectural projects in the Pacific Northwest, both with other firms and under his own practice. Johnson has been focusing his attention on intentional, sustainable building, design and construction for 25+ years.
During his career he has advanced several projects for the Nike World Headquarters as a project architect for TVA, the award winning Waterplace, a six-story mixed-use project as a project architect for CB2 and a local favorite – Mount Shasta Drive’s Contemporary Prairie’ Residence in 3Pines as Ultra.
“Working in partnership with each client, we value sensibly designed and sustainably constructed buildings which enrich our communities and exceed client expectations,” said Johnson.
“We are skilled in all aspects of sustainable design and construction and are able to support our clients at whatever level they strive to achieve. Our client’s expect insight, ingenuity and innovation skillfully applied to every project with which we’re entrusted. Bringing over twenty-five years of experience to bear, we have found that there is always an opportunity to make a difference, which we accomplish by carefully listening to and clearly communicating with each client and team member.
