With the economic difficulties challenging so many businesses in Central Oregon it is becoming increasingly difficult to come up with ways to sustain business growth, or even to survive. But with challenge also comes opportunity.
THEM! is proud to announce their grand opening and offer their support to the businesses in our community. According to Creative Director Tim Scott, THEM! is a company founded on the principle of creative solutions for business challenges. THEM! could be labeled an advertising agency, a design firm, a business consultancy, a public relations company, an interactive developer or “social media” specialist. However, according to Scott, THEM! resists the traditional labels and instead focuses on carefully created strategies and executions that combine the best of all medias and tactics to accomplish specific business objectives.
Says Scott, “THEM! exists to create, to experiment, to generate thought, to move people, to push buttons, to stimulate conversation, to change minds and to provoke action.”
THEM! was founded by Scott, who moved from New York City to Central Oregon in 2006. He has been working in the sales and marketing industry for more than 18 years, most recently working in New York City as a creative director for international agencies Young & Rubicam and ATTIK. Working on brands like Sony, Miller Brewing Co., Absolut, AOL, PepsiCo, Kinko’s, Motorola, The Discovery Channel, FUSE.TV, Gatorade, Sara Lee and others, Scott was able to experience, guide and help these well-known brands and products to grow and thrive.
For the first year and a half in Central Oregon, Scott worked as creative director for another local agency creating and leading efforts for Bend Memorial Clinic, COCC, Community First Bank and many others. “We love working with passionate and driven people who truly live and believe in the power of their brand. This is what really drives us to create and execute beautiful work that gets results,” adds Scott.
THEM! has put together a team of designers, strategists, writers, art directors and business specialists that are some of the most sought-after in their fields. “Success for our clients is not optional,” says Scott. “This is personal. When we create successful business efforts, we all succeed.”
THEM!’s business model is different than many “traditional” models. “You don’t have to need an ad or have a specific marketing execution to engage us. Just share your business goal, challenge or need with us and we’ll show you the best way to make it happen within your budget. Great sales and marketing efforts don’t have to be expensive, they just have to work,” explains Scott.
