BFQ Wedding Magazine Unveiled
Cascade Publications Inc. announces the release of the sixth issue of Bend Fashion Quarterly (BFQ), a fashion and lifestyle magazine reflecting the trends of the High Desert. The new issue includes the BFQ Wedding Magazine featuring wedding advice, preparations, unique accessories and unique local venues.
Increasing content to 140 pages, this issue covers a vast array of themes that showcase the diversity of Central Oregon. From featuring the culture of coffee in our region and climbing up and riding down Oregon’s Cascade Volcanoes to energy efficient homes and the fashion shoot at the High Desert Museum, BFQ is intensifying its focus on all things relating to the cultural trends that are forming our lifestyles.
Founder and Publisher Pamela Hulse Andrews highlights the Forces of Fashion section and showcases three fabulous local boutiques that feature both local and international designers while Oregrown unveils its emerging lifestyle brand.
David Clewet shines a spotlight on local designers with Baki Lifestyle Apparel founder Peter Axelse, Mari Lassa’s Anne Scott, Abby Cakes of Mice and Mischief, Citrine Bling’s Allison Cogen and Rynda Clark RRags Clothing Line in the Wearable Art section.
Chelsea Callicott rounds out the lifestyle section by sharing stories of how Eli and Dottie Ashley, Kathy Morgan, Julie Junkin and Eric Sande are energizing happiness in their everyday pursuits.
Jumping back into school, BFQ showcases students with collegiate fashion photo shoot at the Bend Factory Outlets featuring Pendleton, Pearl Izumi and Maurices hostign some of Oregon’s college students sharing the day with friendly store managers and discovering new clothing designs.
Andrews reflects, “Fashion is an industry often dismissed as frivolous and one whose values are traditionally considered less than noteworthy. But on the pages of BFQ, you’ll find the striking gathering of stories about Central Oregonians sharing their view of style, trends and designs.”
