The City Club of Central Oregon will explore “Oregon Tax Overhaul,” a look at the volatility in the revenue structure and how Oregonians could do it better on August 21 from 11:30am to 1pm.
The City Club will welcome special guests Paul Warner, Legislative Revenue Officer for the State of Oregon and Charlie Ringo, attorney at law and former Oregon State Senator to discuss Oregon’s revenue structure. Ryan Deckert, President or Oregon Business Association was previously scheduled to participate in this Forum but had to cancel his visit to Central Oregon.
Warner will share an educational presentation and clarify just how the Oregon tax system is structured. Ringo will bring insightful perspectives and persuasive reasons as to why alternatives should be explored.
The cost of this forum is $13 for members, $25 for non-members and includes lunch. Preregistration is required by August 18 at 5pm and the program will be conducted at St. Charles Medical Center at 2500 Neff Road in Bend.
